We met at WVU just a few weeks before Jake graduated, at the end of one chapter and, as it turned out, the beginning of ours. After graduation, Jake returned to Massachusetts to look for a job, while Tori set off for Europe with a close friend. By summer’s end, Jake had landed in New York, giving Tori one more reason to spend time in her favorite city.

What followed was a collection of visits, weekends, and reluctant goodbyes, until New York eventually became home to us both. These days, we share an apartment, a love of travel, and an ever-growing list of places to see and restaurants to try.
